Healing Through Self-Understanding

Trauma-informed psychotherapy for people ready to understand their patterns, reconnect with themselves, and create meaningful change.

Julia Jackson, LCSW

I support individuals navigating grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lingering impact of past trauma. Many of my clients are ready to understand the patterns that have repeated through their lives and are ready to do the work to dismantle their role in them, so that they can show up as their most vibrant, grounded, authentic selves.

My goal is to help people reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been pushed aside - including passion, playfulness, self-trust, and the freedom to live authentically.

Healing Through Self-Understanding

Many people grow up learning to prioritize survival, responsibility, or the needs of others before their own. Overtime, survival can become an identity.

People can become disconnected from the parts of themselves that once felt natural; creativity, pleasure, playfulness, emotional expression, intuition and personal voice.

In therapy, we explore the relational patterns and early experiences that shaped how you move through the world today. Through this process, clients begin developing a more secure relationship with themselves. One built on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in advocating for their needs.

Healing allows space for new possibilities: greater confidence, self-esteem, healthiest relationships, stronger boundaries, and a deeper connection to one's authentic identity.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals who are:

  • navigating major life transitions

  • processing grief and loss

  • healing from past trauma

  • struggling with relationship patterns

  • seeking greater self-confidence and emotional balance

  • wanting to reconnect with their authentic voice and identity

  • wanting to explore their own spirituality and their soul selves

My clients are often insightful, self-aware, motivated individuals who are ready to explore deeper personal growth and make meaningful change beyond symptom management.

Approach

My work is grounded in an attachment-focused, trauma-informed approach to therapy.

This means we explore how early relational experiences shaped emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and the ways you respond to stress and connection today.

Together, we work toward developing a secure internal foundation - helping you build confidence, strengthen boundaries, regulate emotions and create healthier relationships both with yourself and others.

The goal is not simply to cope with life, but to feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with the life you want to create.
