Practice Policies

Psychotherapy Practice Policies

Holistic Integration is committed to providing clear expectations regarding psychotherapy services, scheduling, communication, privacy, fees, and professional boundaries.

Clients beginning psychotherapy receive comprehensive practice policies and informed-consent documents through the secure client portal for review and acknowledgment before or during the initiation of services.

Appointments & Cancellations

Psychotherapy sessions are generally 45–58 minutes in length. Appointment frequency is determined collaboratively based on clinical needs, treatment goals, and availability.

Cancellation and no-show policies, including applicable fees, are provided to clients in writing through the client portal.

Fees & Insurance

Holistic Integration accepts private-pay clients and may participate with selected insurance plans or third-party billing platforms.

Insurance coverage and benefits vary by plan. Clients are encouraged to understand their individual benefits, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and other financial responsibilities.

Self-pay and uninsured clients may have rights to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges under applicable federal law.

Telehealth

Telehealth is available when clinically appropriate and when Julia Jackson, LCSW is legally authorized to provide psychotherapy in the jurisdiction where the client is physically located at the time of service.

Clients participating in telehealth are encouraged to attend sessions from a private, safe location with an appropriate internet connection.

Privacy & Communication

Protecting client privacy is important to Holistic Integration.

Established clients should use the secure client portal for sensitive clinical communication whenever possible. Standard email, text messaging, website contact forms, and social media are not intended for detailed clinical information or emergency communication.

Please review the Notice of Privacy Practices for additional information regarding the use and disclosure of protected health information.

Emergencies

Holistic Integration does not provide 24-hour crisis or emergency services.

If you are experiencing an immediate emergency or believe you or another person may be in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available by calling or texting 988 for crisis support in the United States.

Professional & Online Boundaries

Social media posts, educational materials, workshops, community events, and other public content provided by Julia Jackson or Holistic Integration are for general educational or personal-development purposes and do not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Current psychotherapy clients should not use social media to contact or communicate.

I will not personally follow former or current clients.

Clinical and Non-Clinical Services

Holistic Integration offers psychotherapy as well as separate educational, wellness, coaching, spiritual, and personal-development offerings.

Participation in a non-clinical Holistic Integration offering does not by itself establish a psychotherapy relationship.

When a current psychotherapy client is interested in participating in a separate non-clinical offering, appropriateness and professional boundaries may need to be considered before participation.

Additional Notices

Additional information regarding privacy, client rights, financial policies, informed consent, and other practice requirements is provided directly to psychotherapy clients through the client portal.
